Born 1980, Shaun hails from Letterkenny, County Donegal, Ireland, where his family operates a tyre business..

After completing his education, Shaun started rallying in 1997 at the age of 17.

Shaun worked in the family business until he became a full-time rally driver in 2003.

Shaun has a achieved consistently strong results both at home and abroad and winning notable junior Championships in the U.K. and France.

Shaun is currently employed as an instructor at John Haugland’s Winter Rally School in Norway
